Happy holidays! I’m popping back on the blog for a midi I made with Christmas tree symmetry (“chrymmetry”). Yes, the pun came first and the puzzle came second. I’m hoping the cuteness of it carries the puzzle.
I think this is the last puzzle I’m writing this year, which is wild to say. This year was a busy one for me, and in the blur of writing a bunch of puzzles, it’s hard for specific puzzles to stand out looking back on it. (My memory will probably be sufficiently jogged as I write another clue round-up sometime in the New Year, but that’s for later.) I hope you enjoyed what I had to offer this year. If you did, thank you. Being able to write puzzles as my job is a dream and I’m grateful to everybody who helps me do this. Here’s to many more years of puzzles to come. <3
Shout-out to my lovely girlfriend Thea for test-solving this puzzle! In case you missed it: me and Thea had a puzzle in the USA Today this month. Solve our December 14th puzzle “Ending Explained” here and then read Sally’s lovely write-up here.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who helped donate to my friend Violet’s moving fund. She was able to move into a safer environment in time for the holiday season, and I’m very glad. There’s still a bit of money left until the full goal is reached (and if you donate you get an exclusive themeless from me), so if you feel like donating, do so and hit me up so I can send you a puzzle.
I’m off to spend Christmas Eve watching “Doctor Who” specials, Christmas Day eating good food with my family, and Boxing Day celebrating my 22nd birthday. What a week. Here’s the obligatory Christmas song, because you know I had to include it:
Enjoy the puz! Also: feel free to share the link, comment below if you like the puzzle, and check out my Patreon!
