no-skips november day 6
In 2021, I attempted to post a new crossword everyday in an event I dubbed “NaCroWriMo.” Unfortunately, I was not able to complete this event and, as a result, I have carried that shame ever since. That is until this month.
For every day in November this year, I’m posting a new crossword puzzle in an endeavour I’m now calling “No-Skips November.” Some of these puzzles are themeless, some are themed, some were even constructed before November, but it doesn’t matter: I’m not skipping a single day on this blog. I’m posting a new crossword. Every day. For a month.
This is also an effort to drive subscriptions to my Patreon, which is the best way to support me directly! My Patreon ensures that I’m able to sustain myself financially during months with less puzzle work, so I can spend more time making the puzzles you enjoy. Hey, everyone. I hope everyone’s hanging in there, despite the unavoidable elephant in the room. We can feel the pain of last night up here in Canada, where we’re praying this isn’t an omen for our upcoming federal election. Fuck Donald Trump and all that he stands for. If you’re also feeling doomed, please treat yourself with kindness today, and don’t lose hope. The politicians want you to feel hopeless. I’m sorry.
On a much lighter note, the cat I posted about yesterday is continuing to hang out at my place. I’m borrowing a cat carrier from my friend tonight and checking to see if he’s chipped tomorrow morning. If he is, I should return him to his owner. If he’s not, I might have just adopted a cat? I’ll keep y’all updated.
One last thing: I should be getting a new laptop in the next few days, so I’ll be back to business as usual soon. Thank you everybody for your patience!
